(HED)P.E.: 'Truth Rising' Video Released

March 4, 2011

"Truth Rising", the new video from the leaders of "The Truth Movement" (HED)P.E., can be viewed below. The clip was animated and directed by Joey Nugent.

Commented (HED)P.E. frontman Jahred: "Joey Nugent animated this video and he is truly an artist. Joey throws himself fully into whatever he does, and won't even do a video unless he likes the music or the song. (HED)P.E. is always about the art and we don't give a shit about the capitalism surrounding art. The lyrics for the song are another attempt to inspire the listener to self empowerment. I am getting tired of so-called truthers acting like the big bad government is coming to get us. I want to remind people that we are the government, and that the most powerful thing in the world is the human spirit."

(HED)P.E. has become the voice for a movement that empowers youth and reveals the seedy underbelly of our current political affairs. The band is currently touring in support of its eighth studio album, "Truth Rising", which debuted at No. 98 on the Billboard Top 200 and features a guest appearance by SEVENDUST frontman Lajon Witherspoon.
